Wave of Light

In support of Baby Loss Awareness Week (9–15 October), St Swithun’s Church is joining the global Wave of Light on Thursday 15 October. The church will be open from 7.45–8.45pm for quiet reflection and candle lighting to honour and remember babies who have died during pregnancy, childbirth or infancy.

Blue and pink ribbons are also displayed on the church railings as a sign of love and remembrance. Ribbons are available in the church porch for anyone to add their own ribbon to the display. The church is also open from 10am–3pm Monday to Friday.
