Repentance, Reflection and Preparation for Easter.
Lent – the period of 40 days, excluding Sundays that runs from Ash Wednesday to Easter – is marked by three pillars of prayer, fasting and giving.
The Churches Together in Sandy & Beeston mark this period of repentance, reflection and preparation for Easter by serving frugal lunches on Fridays at 12.30pm (up to and including 27 March) at Sandy Baptist Church Rooms to raise money for Christian Aid.
