YOU ARE WELCOME TO CALL INTO “THE DROP IN” HELD IN THE CHURCH ROOMS, HIGH STREET SANDY
(The Long Building to the left of the Church Path)
EVERY WEDNESDAY
AND
MOST SATURDAYS ***

10.AM AND 4.PM
The Drop In will be closed on 2 Saturdays in May: 14th & 28th!
This is open to all:- Special facilities are available to keep small children entertained whilst their parent/carer can chat with others with similar interests.
Do come along for some company and enjoy a game of Scrabble, Chess, Dominoes and Cards, or just sit and read our news papers. If you are lonely, or just fancy a change of scenery or simply cannot be bothered to cook for yourself, you will be most welcome to come for a drink or a snack or one of our tempting specials and can stay as long as you wish.

The recently or not so recently bereaved may find the drop in an opportunity to meet up with others in a friendly caring environment.
For more sensitive issues, the duty staff, with your consent, can request the St. Swithun's pastoral team to make contact with you and arrange further options.

If you do love cooking and would be interested in taking the Food Hygiene Certificate, (if you haven't got one already) Val would be very pleased to hear from you, as she would love to have another chef on board to share her duties.
Even if you do not like cooking, but enjoy being in contact with people, we are always pleased to receive offers of help as waiters/waitresses to serve the meals, snacks & drinks, to talk to the visitors & also to make them feel wellcome..
