"Living Stones "
The Crèche, Pebbles and Living Stones meet each week in the Rectory Rooms except the 1st Sunday of the month when we are all together in Church for the All Age Service.

The Crèche is aimed at children aged 0-3 years who may wish to spend time with their parent/s in a warm and child friendly environment during part or all of the service. The crèche meets downstairs in the Rectory Room and there is always someone on duty to welcome you and your child.

Alongside this is Pebbles

Pebbles is a junior section of our Living Stones Sunday School, meeting alongside the creche  in the Lower Rectory Room for 3-5year olds and meets for Bible stories and activities, while Pebbles (children aged 5+) meet upstairs for their session.

The children return to Church during the Giving of Communion in time to receive a Blessing. They then remain in Church until the end of the service either with their parents or in the front pews on the pulpit side of church.

We have started a new teaching group for 3-5 year olds. Please come along and join in if you have children in these age groups.

Pebbles and Crèche Saturday Afternoon Extras!:

Calling all children aged around 7 years and under – come and join us for an hour of toys,

games, activities, stories and singing.

Keep revisiting this page for information on future dates.

Living Stones:
Upstairs in the Rectory Room, the Living Stones meet week by week. This is aimed at children aged 6-11. They begin their session with a short act of worship and then following the same bible readings as we are using in Church, hear bible stories and take part in a range of activities connected with the readings for the week. The children return to Church after the intercessions in time for The Peace and remain in Church until the end of the service. They usually sit in the front 2 pews on the lectern (big eagle) side of Church.

Kids With Beatitude: for young people 11+,  meets on the 2nd and 4th Sunday in the month at 9.30 am in the Rectory Rooms. Contact Deirdre Porter-Hanson for more detail (07814313518).

All families with children are welcome to join us week by week and to make use of these groups. We thank all those who give of their time and talents to organise, run and support these important aspects of our mission and outreach to children. Please keep both the adults and the children in your prayers.

And a prayer for us all:

Father God, you have entrusted to our care the children of our church, and have charged us to guide and lead them in the way of Christ. Help us to be faithful to our trust both in our teaching and our prayers, that these children may grow up in the knowledge of your love, to worship and serve you all their days as members of your family, to the honour and glory of your name.
Amen.
